Jessica Alba Film Sin City
Sin City (full title: Frank Miller's Sin City) is an ensemble cast 2005 film written, produced and directed by Frank Miller and Robert Rodriguez. It is a film noir based on Miller's graphic novel series of the same name.
The film is primarily based on three of Miller's works: The Hard Goodbye, about a man who embarks on a brutal rampage in search of his one-time lover's killer; The Big Fat Kill, which focuses on a street war between a group of prostitutes and a group of mercenaries; and That Yellow Bastard, which focuses on an aging police officer who protects a young woman from a grotesquely disfigured serial killer. The movie stars Bruce Willis, Mickey Rourke, Jessica Alba, Clive Owen, Michael Clarke Duncan, Rosario Dawson, Benicio del Toro, Michael Madsen, Nick Stahl, Powers Boothe, Josh Hartnett, Jaime King, Brittany Murphy, Elijah Wood and Rutger Hauer, among others.
Avoid this stunning film if violence offends you.
Author: sjha-2 from Atlanta, GA
Channel surfing late one night I stumbled across this film and stopped to look because of the unusual cinematography. It's visually stunning, mostly in b&w and that evokes a film noir atmosphere punctuated with those brilliant flashes of color. Two minutes later I couldn't take my eyes away. This unique film is superbly executed, the casting, the screenplay, the special effects, everything about it. As we all know, there is an expansive library of film work out there for a wide range of tastes and sensibilities. If yours are delicate, if you are offended by gore and violence, then this film will NOT be your cup of tea. Stay away from it. But if both the horror and film noir genres appeal to you, you'll probably find this movie as captivating as I did.

I thought it was a great movie with a good storyline about a girl with a dream of making it big, helping out those who can't have that life. Yes, a little predictable at times, but the thought was there. The movie faced a lot of issues, from drug use and dealing to just generally believing in your dreams and no movie is complete without the fairytale love story. The dancing was awesome and Jessica Alba was amazing as Honey Daniels. People will give up their dreams if things don't turn out the way they wanted them to, but Honey stuck by hers and accomplished something she'd always wanted to. I think she is an inspiration for many.

What a great film to inspire hope to young people all over the world. Such a great script showing that young people can make a difference and can be the ones who change the world. Actually they are the only ones who can change the world, if it's not for them then the world will never become a better place and I think this film is right up that alley of inspiring hope and positive thinking for the future generations! Jessica is great she does an awesome job. Like always she looks hot and totally inspiring. I think her acting is getting better and better. Keep on going on girl. The story is simple but powerful and shows that it takes only one to change the world, and it makes you wanna be that one! A 10!

Jessica Alba-The Sleeping Dictionary
"Jessica Alba-The Sleeping Dictionary"
Jessica Alba-The Sleeping Dictionary as Selima, this is DVD Exclusive Award for Best Actress in a DVD Premiere Movie.
The Sleeping Dictionary is a 2003 film by Guy Jenkin. It was filmed in Sarawak and is set during the British colonial rule in the 1930s.
Wonderful Romance – Better and Better than Webster's and American Heritage Dictionaries,
10/10
Author: Claudio Carvalho from Rio de Janeiro, Brazil
In 1936, the expatriated young and naive just-graduated British John Truscott (Hugh Dancy) arrives to the Sarawak, a British colony, to work in the Iban society. The beautiful Selima (Jessica Alba) is assigned to be his "sleeping dictionary", to live and sleep with him and teach him the language and habits of the locals. The reluctant John and Selima fall in love for each other in a forbidden romance.
What a magnificent surprise "The Sleeping Dictionary" was for me, indeed a wonderful romance, with action and drama and an adorable story of difference of cultures, seduction and secrets. Jessica Alba and Hugh Dancy have stunning performances, showing a delightful chemistry. Brenda Blethyn and Bob Hoskins are excellent, as usual, and Noah Taylor, as the nasty Neville, Emily Mortimer, as the sweet Cecil and Eugene Salleh, as Belansai, are also fantastic. Certainly, Jessica Alba is better and better than Webster's and American Heritage Dictionaries. Definitely, "The Sleeping Dictionary" is a must-see movie for any sensitive audience. My vote is ten.

Jessica Alba - Paranoid
Paranoid is a 2000 Indie film, directed by John Duigan, which was made for theatrical release but sequently received a limited international theatrical release. Paranoid was released directly to video in most countries. It stars Jessica Alba and Iain Glen.
Not that bad Nor confusing for me.,

This movie was not hard for me to fallow at all. Jessic alba was smokin hot but should could of acted better. Her acting however, did not affect my suspension of disbelief in the story. Although, I am easily immersed.
I have decided to point out where others on this film are stuck. for me it is obvious that Chloe was being drugged and raped. They weren't keeping her hostage because she saw a video tape. They were keeping her there to rape her. The movie never shows the raping. The lady in the tape was not Chloe but Ned's wife. What the movie didn't show was in the video tape where Chloe says, "stop I'm tired. No, I want to go to sleep." She is getting raped with the use of a drug like roofies. The Ironic part of the story is Chloe's first stalker was the man who help free her from the psychotic musician Stan. During the movie it might be hard to follow because there are 3 stalkers and they are all stalking her about the same time. Gordon peaks at her through the peep whole while her friend toby calls her up and hangs up. The stalker across the street also calls her and hangs up. The two stalkers are the only ones that have plots still open. I think everything else is just character development not a sub-plot. (there not meant to be solved)

The Ten
The Ten is a comedy film directed by David Wain and cowritten by Ken Marino through ThinkFilm. The Ten film was released on August 3, 2007. The Ten DVD was released on January 15, 2008.
The Ten tell about... Ten stories, each inspired by one of the ten commandments.
Paul Rudd and Jessica Alba - Outtakes & Bloopers from THE TEN
Jeff Reigert (Paul Rudd) presents all of these stories to the audience, while struggling with his own moral dilemma: having to choose between his beautiful wife (Famke Janssen) and his also beautiful but somewhat younger mistress (Jessica Alba).
Watch it over and over again to see all the amazing details!, Master of comedy David Wain is at it again! The Ten is a hilarious film that focuses on a series of stories that are all inspired by the ten commandments. Paul Rudds characters has the mandate to introduce to the world the commandments!
This film is full of loopy characters sure to keep you laughing from start to end! Rudd is outstanding in his role and the supporting cast is full of Hollywood A-Listers.
Jessica Alba puts out the performance of a lifetime and really shows some more depth than she usually shows. The viewer is left watching with bated breath: the twists and turns that leaving you wanting more and more, like an insatiable hunger.
One of the best comedies made in the last decade!

Jessica Alba - Idle Hands
Comedy & Horror Seem To Work Well Together,
I thought this (Idle Hands) was going to be just another dumb teen comedy. After watching the first 10 minutes, I was convinced it (Idle Hands) was, and was ready to try something else. Well, I am glad I stayed with it. It (Idle Hands) was very funny and a combination comedy and horror film. Yes, it's humor geared more for teens but people far older than 15 should still get a lot of laughs out of this.
Warning: some (Idle Hands) of the scenes are pretty gross, at least for a comedy, but that's what made those particularly scenes funny. Comedy and horror mix well together, anyway.
The (Idle Hands) film reminded me a bit of "American Werewolf in London" with the "undead" kids. Despite the absurdity of it, there are a couple of good message in here....but, generally, this is purely escapist fun and nothing else.

Jessica Alba - Never Been Kissed
Never Been Kissed starring Drew Barrymore, David Arquette, Michael Vartan, Molly Shannon, Leelee Sobieski, John C. Reilly, Jessica Alba, Marley Shelton, James Franco, Giuseppe Andrews, Jeremy Jordan and Garry Marshall.
Never Been Kissed was produced by Drew Barrymore's production company, Flower Films.
Can so so relate, Very sadly, I can relate to Never Been Kissed movie, as I'm 17, and have yet to be kissed, so I really feel for Josie. It's been a while since seeing this film, but to write this review I re-watched Never Been Kissed, and remembered everything I loved about it.
Drew Barrymore is a great actress, and this role suited her really well at the time. The chemistry between Sam and Josie was really good, and Michael Vartan was an excellent actor in this.
I loved the storyline too - as i said up there, I could relate, and it's rare you find a film you can completely relate to.
All over - I loved it. I loved Never Been Kissed.

Jessica Alba - P.U.N.K.S
P.U.N.K.S... Good Good Good, I liked P.U.N.K.S! Loved it! It's a great movie about teammwork and friendship. The P.U.N.K.S. is about five kids, leader Drew, overweight Lanny, con artist Johnny, nerd Miles, and tomboy Samantha. The P.U.N.K.S. which isn't a gang or anything P.U.N.K.S. stands for to Protect the Underdog with Nerve, Knowledge, and Strength. PUNKS, get it? Anyways, Drew's father works for CRAP Crow Resources And Protection. HIs father (Randy Quaid) is making an Augmentor, it powers up the nervous system to make one strong. Drew is always let down by his father by broken promises, so for his birthday he invites Drew and Miles to the company to hang out. Miles somewhat accidentally gets into the files, but cant get a password. That's where Johnny comes in. They use Drew's garage where his father use to work for CRAP as there headquarters, you can get into the files and everything. They get into the files and find out that Crow's assisstant has changed the Augmentor, and if u keep it on you for 20 minutes 9 out of 10 chances it will fry your whole nervous, and if you have a heart condition, which Drew's father has, it could kill you in 5. So they decide to steal the Augmentor, but CRAP has mega security. That's where Johnny's cousin Samantha comes in. She is the expert breaking and entering person. They steal it successfully BUT Crow has a double. I'm not going to tell the whole movie, rent it and watch. I give P.U.N.K.S. 8.5/10!

Jessica Alba - Venus Rising
Awful does not begin to describe this movie., I admit that I have a weakness for films with attractive women. When I found Venus Rising movie, with Meredith Salenger, Audie England, Jessica Alba, and even Morgan Fairchild, I thought to myself, "Whoa! How did I miss this one?" After watching Venus Rising, I understood how it could have slipped through the cracks. Venus Rising is absolutely one of the worst movies I have ever watched. It was so horribly bad that I was compelled to sit through the entire flick to see how much more terrible it could get.
The script of Venus Rising must have been (and for simple ease, here, I'll just continue to use the word 'bad') bad to begin with, but the director somehow bad it even worse. The editing leaves much to be desired. In a word? Bad. Just really, really bad. The concept of walking around with a wonderful little pyramid-shaped box that dispenses all sorts of drugs, narcotics, mood-enhancers, or whatever... Wow. And yet, the person with the magic pyramid still is constantly, suicidally unhappy. The flashbacks to a youth where there was no food, you lived in an empty prison on a deserted island, again, where the WAS NO FOOD, and yet lots of healthy-looking people fighting over the scraps of food that somehow 'were found'? Again, wow. And how about the Virtual Reality machine that lets people just 'appear where they want' for 'dates'? Wow. Just wow. And all these people who will just 'show up' when it's convenient to the story. "Hey there, just happened to be strolling down the beach with this unopened can of Pepsi. How about having sex with me for it? I can see that you're pretty filthy, and you seem to have some blood on your clothes, but what the heck, I'm game. We'll just duck under this convenient boardwalk where no one else happens to be and..." Shoot me now, just get it over with, will you? Who wrote the script? The director's fourth-grade kid? As a class project?
And the end of the Venus Rising film is so terribly, incredibly, unforgivably bad... It's like, "Uh-oh. Got to wrap this up in... hmm... we'll give it 90 seconds, but since my kid only wrote 30 seconds of dialog, we'll have another 60 seconds of awkward silences to stretch it out."

CAMP NOWHERE a winning comedy!!!!!, Me and my friends love Camp Nowhere movie. It's hilarious. Made me feel like a kid again what with all the summer camp motifs. My friend Tommy says it reminds him of his camp he went to for about five years when he was a younger kid. We put this on at the liquor store on the vcr here and watched it from beginning to end. Even the customers liked it. It kind of calms them down when they are buying alcohol. Christopher Lloyd is so funny. Camp Nowhere soundtrack rocks too. They don't make them like that anymore, it's all that Korn sounding stuff. My name is Todd M. and I give this 4 stars!!
